Highlights

A delicious airy forest summit hike of Catur with a straight-forward ascent route to Pura Puncak Mangu temple, away from crowds, ideal for just forest-bathing or a first-summit.

For those of you who want a combination of fresh air, deep forest and elevation, Pura Puncak Mangu (Mangu Summit) provides a superb mini-summit on good, clear trails.

The route is an out-and-back, which is ideal for first-timers, fit families, or a group of friends with mixed ability and fitness, allowing for an easy retreat back down, or a pleasant place to just sit, breathe-in and forest-bathe.

This trail adventure requires 2 days / 48 hrs advance booking time.

The first ¾ allows for a fresh forest hike, with a steeper final ¼ (150m vert) summit approach, a nice challenge if the summit is the goal, but can be simply left for another time if forest-bathing is the goal.
