A private day hike discovering the ancient kingdom of Kerambitan and Puri Anyar Royal Palace, one of Bali’s oldest and famous for hosting the 1970s weddings of rock legends, David Bowie and Mick Jagger.

Reconnect to the earth in an agro-forest, ascend the shaded temple stairs, breathe free at the views north to Batukaru, and cool off along the riverbank of Tukad Yeh Hoo, the river of the Water Trees. Round off your trek with a special visit inside the royal palace.

This surprisingly varied circuit hike starts and finishes at Puri Anyar Royal Palace, the home of one of Bali’s most revered royal families and oldest heritage dwellings, the preservation of which is supported through your trek. This circuit trail swings by a farmer’s house and our village hiking base for rests mid-circuit. You will find drinking water refills, tea & fresh coffee here and a lavatory. Bring a picnic and enjoy the views.
