Kick-off in Kedungu on a full day hike via Tanah Lot Temple to a royal arrival in Kerambitan, on Great Bali Trail Stage 1. Enjoy coffee & breakfast at Little Ripper Cafe in Kedungu, then opt to explore Tanah Lot Temple before heading west along the coast and inland across padi fields to Puri Anyar Royal Palace, in Baturiti village Kerambitan.
For those of you who seek a flat-ish traverse for an easy day hike or fast-pack, discovering the coast beyond Tanah Lot temple and into Tabanan via Yeh Gangga.

For those wishing to visit Tanah Lot Temple en route, set off from Kedungu as planned, taking a short diversion southeast to enter Tanah Lot from its western gate.

- All river crossings are by bridge.
- Coastal path traverses a 20m section of headland affected by very high-tides. Alternative inland option is available. Headland route regularly travelled by local people.
