Highlights

A half day hike circuit exploring Undisan’s sacred waters at Grembeng and the rolling padi and marigold fields of Desa Nyanglan, with stunning views to the northeast of Mt. Agung, Bali’s holiest mountain.

For those of you who want to learn about local traditions and agricultural livelihoods, or just to hike or fast-pack trails, enjoying wide horizons and freedom on foot.

This circuit trail starts and finishes at DeUmah Eco Tradi Stay, a locally-owned eco-resort with a delicious farm-to-table restaurant with tea, coffee, and a lavatory. There are two river crossings on this hike (details below).

IF conditions are not conducive for a responsible river crossing, Team idGuides will either recommend an alternative route on the day within Undisan, or not cross. 

  • Grembeng Waterfall: 10m wide, ankle-deep, pebble/sand underfoot
  • Nyanglan Dam: 15m wide: dry option (dam wall); wet option (downstream, ankle-deep)
